About the validation process
Can any Brazilian nurse validate their diploma in the U.S.?
In the vast majority of cases, yes. The course load of Brazilian nursing degrees is significantly higher than the American one, which facilitates equivalence. Nursy carries out an eligibility analysis before you hire any service, so you have clarity from the beginning.
What about nurses from other countries? Does Nursy answer?
Yes. We have already advised nurses in Brazil, the Philippines, India, Kenya, Nigeria and other countries. The validation process is similar for everyone, but each nationality has documentary peculiarities that Nursy knows and knows how to resolve.
How long does the complete process take?
From 8 to 18 months, depending on the agility of regulatory bodies and your pace of preparation for the NCLEX. Diploma validation takes 3 to 6 months, the Board another 2 to 4 months, and NCLEX preparation takes 3 to 6 months. The tip is to study for the NCLEX in parallel with the bureaucratic steps, saving months in total time.
Do I need to speak English to validate the diploma?
For validation of the diploma and application to the Board, no. Nursy takes care of all communication in English for you. However, for the NCLEX and to work in the U.S., you will need intermediate or advanced English. The sooner you start practicing, the better.
Can I do everything living in Brazil?
Yes. The entire process can be done remotely, from anywhere in the world. The only face-to-face stage is the NCLEX, which in Brazil is administered in São Paulo. If you are in another country, you can do it at any available Pearson VUE center.
What is the difference between TruMerit and Josef Silny?
Both are recognized evaluation agencies in the U.S.. TruMerit (formerly CGFNS) is the most used and accepted by most Boards. Josef Silny is an alternative accepted by some states and may have different deadlines. Nursy advises which is best for your case and destination state.
What if my school does not cooperate with sending the documents?
It happens more than it should. Nursy has experience with hundreds of Brazilian schools and knows how to deal with those that are slow or difficult. We make direct contact, guide the institution on exactly what is needed, and persist until we achieve it. It is one of the stages where our experience makes the most difference.
About Nursy advisory service
What exactly does Nursy do for me?
We conduct the entire technical and bureaucratic part of the process: we complete forms, create profiles on the platforms, communicate with schools, COREN and U.S. agencies, coordinate translations, monitor deadlines and inform each update. Each client receives a dedicated email to monitor exchanges with entities in real time. In short: we do it, you follow.
Is Nursy trustworthy? How do I know you will deliver?
Nursy Consulting LLC is an American company based in Orlando. We have formal bilingual contracts, more than 800 clients advised, 100% validation in more than 400 diplomas, and American recruitment companies that trust Nursy to process their candidates. Our results can be checked through public Google reviews.
Are you a advisory service or a law firm?
Advisory services. We are not lawyers and we do not handle immigration issues (visas, Green Card). Our focus is exclusively on nursing licensure: diploma validation, Board of Nursing, NCLEX, endorsement and Career Connect. For visa issues, we recommend specialized lawyers.
How does support work? Can I talk to someone for real?
Yes. Support via WhatsApp directly with the team (not a chatbot), strategic meetings via Google Meet, and proactive updates. We let you know when something happens. Nobody disappears.
I already started the process alone and got stuck. Can Nursy take over from where I am?
Yes. We assess what stage you are at, what has already been done, what needs to be corrected and what is missing. Several of our clients arrived halfway (or from another advisory service that didn't deliver) and Nursy took over from there.
About investment and payment
How much does the advisory service cost?
We work with individual services (validation, Board, endorsement, Career Connect) and combinations. The price depends on what you need. The best way to find out is to take the eligibility quiz (free) or speak to the team via WhatsApp to receive personalized guidance.
Are US organ fees included?
No. The advisory service fee covers Nursy's technical work: completion, monitoring, communicating with entities. Fees for TruMerit (formerly CGFNS), Josef Silny, Board of Nursing, Pearson VUE, and translations are paid by you directly to the agencies as each step progresses. Nursy guides each payment at the right time, so you never pay in the wrong place.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, we have installment options. Contact the team to find out the conditions available for your case.
If I have already contracted validation and later want to add Board or endorsement, how does it work?
You can hire additional services at any time. Many clients start with validation and then add Board, endorsement or Career Connect as the journey progresses.
Validation Guarantee
How does the Validation Guarantee work?
If your diploma is not validated by the evaluation agency (TruMerit or Josef Silny) during our advisory service, we will refund 100% of the amount you paid for the Nursy advisory service. Just like that. Conditions detailed in the contract.
Why do you offer this guarantee? It looks too good.
Because our validation rate is 100%. More than 400 diplomas processed, zero failures. It's not a bet. It’s result-based trust. We know every detail of what agencies require and we know how to deliver everything in the right format. When Nursy takes care, it works.
What does the warranty cover and what does it not cover?
Covers: the diploma validation stage (Credential Evaluation). If the evaluating agency issues a negative opinion, we will refund the value of the advisory service. Does not cover: fees paid directly to the agencies (which are not charged by Nursy), failure in the NCLEX (which depends on individual preparation), or voluntary withdrawal from the process.
What if I want to give up halfway through the process? Do you have a refund?
Once services begin, there are no refunds for withdrawals. The exception is the Validation Guarantee (diploma not validated). Full details are in the contract, which is digitally signed before commencement.
Endorsement
What is endorsement?
It is the transfer of your nursing license from one US state to another. If you were licensed in Montana, for example, and received a job offer in Texas, you need endorsement to work legally in the new state.
Do I need to retake the NCLEX to transfer?
In most states, no. The endorsement transfers the license without re-examination. Some states have additional requirements that Nursy checks before starting.
How long does it take?
It depends on the destination state. Some process in 2-4 weeks, others can take 2-3 months. Nursy follows and speeds up as much as possible. We have already carried out more than 150 endorsements in more than 30 states.
Can I transfer to any state?
Yes, as long as you have an active license in an American state. Each Board has its requirements, and Nursy knows the particularities of each one.
NCLEX
Does Nursy prepare me for the NCLEX?
We offer study guidance: recommendation of materials, platforms (UWorld, Archer, Saunders), personalized schedule and strategies based on the experience of hundreds of clients. Nursy is not a preparatory course, but we know what works for international nurses and we provide guidance from the first day of the advisory service.
Where can I take the NCLEX?
In Brazil, the NCLEX is taken in São Paulo, at an official Pearson VUE test center. If you are already in the US or another country, you can take it at any available Pearson VUE center around the world.
What if I fail?
You can retake the test. The minimum interval between attempts is 45 days. Nursy helps with rescheduling and adjustments to the study strategy. The Validation Guarantee does not cover the NCLEX, as performance on the test depends on individual preparation.
Can I study while validation and the Board are in progress?
It should. It's exactly what we recommend. While Nursy takes care of the bureaucratic part, you study for the NCLEX in parallel. This can reduce the total process time by several months. We begin study guidance from the first day of the advisory service.
Career Connect
What is Nursy Career Connect?
It is our connection program to the American job market for nurses who are already licensed and NCLEX approved. We prepare your resume according to the U.S.-style, carry out a mock interview session in English, and look for the best jobs on the market for your profile, without ties to any specific company.
Is Nursy a sponsor?
No. Nursy is an independent advisory service. The sponsor of the visa is the hospital or the recruitment agency (sponsor). Nursy prepares you and searches for the best opportunities available on the market for your profile.
Do you guarantee employment?
We do not guarantee hiring, as the final decision rests with the employer. What we do is maximize your chances: professional preparation, optimized resume, interview training and active search for the best jobs. The market is in favor of nurses, with a deficit of more than 1 million professionals in the U.S..
Why is Nursy's independence an advantage?
Because we do not have an exclusive link with any recruitment company. This means that we search for the best jobs available in the entire market for your profile, in real time. Jobs are dynamic: they open and close as they are filled. If we were stuck with 3 or 4 partners, your options would be limited. No constraints, your options are the best at the moment.
Are interviews with sponsors in English?
Yes, 100%. The sponsors are American companies. That's why we offer a mock interview as preparation. You don't need to be fluent, but you need to be able to communicate confidently in a professional interview.
Can I take my family to the U.S.?
Yes. The EB-3 visa, which is the most common for nurses, automatically includes a spouse and children under 21 years of age. Your family immigrates with you, with the right to reside and work legally in the U.S..
